I’M HERE FOR YOU!

I’M HERE FOR YOU!

I work as a life coach.  I’m not here to tell my clients what they may need to think or do (we partner on this) however like any teacher I help to guide them to look at life from a different perspective or imagine something new and better.

I am constantly checking in with myself to examine an issue and assess how I feel about such and such.  My greatest desire for the rest of my life is to be the best ME I can be and then continue to build on each best-success.  I am always paying attention to what my mind is insisting on telling me to do…does this feel right or am I feeling a sense of angst? This will be when I send in my clean-up crew to help determine which way to turn and what next steps I can take.

Learning how to listen and understand what drives my clients is key in knowing what trajectory to take going forward. Tony Robbins calls this discovering one’s ‘leverage’ in order to find a clients’ need by helping to create new associations to old patterns in the nervous system or more easily said “Break a pattern before you change a pattern.”

One aspect of coaching that is super helpful for both client and coach is to ask more questions.  More practiced listening skills by focused engagement of conversation can help get to the core of the issue and then the fun and change can begin.

No matter how confusing life can be; how many challenges that present themselves; how we may find our physical body reacting in ways that never serve us; we can always dig a bit deeper to find that diamond as to how much we want to take this next hurdle and change the trajectory of our habits and align them to our higher sense of self.

I learn something new each and every time I work with a client. I learn something from conversation with a friend.   Once on the path of self-discovery and acceptance to change your life starts to be a pandora’s box.

Question for today:

Whether your life is skipping along fantastically or you find yourself in the doldrums ( a depressed or bored state of mind; a state of inactivity or stagnation)  if you keep doing what you are doing and not continually push the envelope of growth and purpose will anything in your life ever change?
