CLARITY IS AT THE ROOT OF SUCCESSFUL LIVES
CLARITY IS AT THE ROOT OF SUCCESSFUL LIVES
REMEMBER TO SCROLL DOWN PAST P.S. TO FIND OUT INFORMATION ON OUR LIVE SHOW TODAY!
Are you into discovering what makes you tick? When is the last time and maybe the first time you did a deep dig into what values you love about yourself/what values you avoid?
These changing times are imploring us to start making our internal exploration one in which you can define if someone were to ask you who you are and what you stand for.
In my generation we didn’t know the first thing about journaling, extrapolating the noise in our head that constantly overlapped thoughts into a cacophony of badly played musical instruments, taking time to examine our wants, needs, and desires, and then having the tools and techniques to engage in their fancy, controlled and uncovered introspection, etc.
In “those” days most of our time which we felt “well-spent” was about having a good job that would allow us to take a vacation to Atlantic City. Europe was thinking fanciful and given a light touch of planning for later in life like after the age of 65 when retired; rarely taking the time, the valuable time to discover what our real drive was in life.
If you take a moment to Google all the self-help books available today you will find that number to be around 86,000 as of 2019 and growing with many of them saying similar things.
However, what I have found is when I clearly define my true values it’s easier to find those books that resonate with them. If you want to find out how to make a great omelet do you need a book on the history of a chicken?
I remember watching a seminar snippet with Tony Robbins in his Personal Power Program where he asked us to take out our success journal (which I had to quickly put together) and then list my best and most favorite values. Once we were to do that we needed to put them in priority order of importance. Next, we were to list the values that were ones we avoided but still owned (like the ones we inherited from our parents/mentors) and prioritize them.
Lastly, we were to engage in conversation with ourselves as to what has happened in our life to feel those values that we love to own (like love, success, great health) and the same to explore the ones that come on like lightening and stay prolonged like thunder that we run away from.
Clarity. Note that you will not implode when doing introspective exercises, but you will explode from a place of possibility and defined ownership of knowing yourself from a different level than you ever thought possible.
By taking inventory and prioritizing principles you can soon start recognizing your unique true knowing; what values make your life the most meaningful and then you can zero in on that unique-to-you self-help that aligns with your true, now- recognized values.
Many blessings to you always,
