Curiouser and curiouser

I wonder if by allowing ourselves to give pause and deliberate introspection that we would look at all the issues in the world today i.e. pandemic, economy, housing prices, war, environmental changes etc. as just a painful experience?  Or by taking action we step inside ourselves and ask about what this ‘pain’ really is.  Are there well-hidden messages and questions to ask that need our attention?

Getting comfortable with the discomfort is one way in which we can access some of the answers to this question.  Just who we are when we are doing what we do?  Are we simply reacting as we have all our life to what is deemed habitually appropriate and aligned to our design of how we do our life or do we have the willingness to listen to our inner voice?  Having access to a new sense of Self where we may choose to look and feel and verbalize on a new level of awareness and be amazingly empowering.

For instance…many years ago I would in vapid conversation be passing along the message of doom when speaking to friends about the “state of the world.” And not being deep thinkers for the most part they would concur, and the ball would continue to be tossed back and forth until we would walk away not solving a damn thing.  Game over!  Still feel like crap!

Instead, today though I may appear to some as being a tad more fluffy and too spiritual I have learned to turn an uncomfortable situation that causes me discomfort over…looking at the underbelly, feeling around “is it squishy, hard, the dark color of lava or soft and pliable like a sponge” so that my natural curiosity allows me to look at not only HOW I feel but ponder what options I have to make this be more of a benefit than a curse to my evolving spirit.

As I have spoken about in past blogs, we humans are very tribal and according to our chakra system (seven energy centers) we are born into our first chakra/root chakra as it energetically holds inherited belief patterns. “The first chakra is the foundation of emotional and mental health. Your connection to traditional familial beliefs supports the formation of identity and a sense of belonging to a group.” https://www.myss.com/chakras/

Some people escape their tribe over the years and venture out into the world while using these learned behaviors to benefit their life while those that stay locked in their root may miss the opportunity to benefit a more exploratory and exciting life by simply asking if these beliefs still have dominion over them and why?

Experiencing sameness throughout their life and not to venture out to see what may be explored using a different lens may seem safe but it can cause a lot of pain.

However, it is more possible to reach the other side and become even more empowering by taking a deep dive into who we are at our core/center/foundation of our truth.  And when we find and recognize ourselves there and see that we areas more of a ‘whole’ and less of a ‘part of our whole Self, life starts to bring more assistance in handling who and why we are with this new self awareness.

The Universe is perfectly balanced even after 14 billions years.  However, our ability to balance our individual life requires constant calibration. We’ve all said at one time or another, “Just when everything came together then all hell broke loose.”  And it is at that divine time when we have finally allowed ourselves to accept that this is the opportunity to dig in we learn to thrive and grow in benefit to ourselves.

Does it get easier when we have decided to take this leap of faith?  I’d say yes because living vacantly and as a victim is harder than one thinks and no where near as fun and expansive!

From ALICE IN WONDERLAND:

"'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!"
Here's another quote that's transcended its place in the story. Alice has undergone so much change in so little time that she doesn't know who she is anymore. Rather than fret over it, though, Alice considers her identity crisis to be a fun challenge, calling it a "great puzzle" to figure out.

Here's to your brilliance unfolding lovingly,
