TRY, TRY AND THEN TRY AGAIN!

TRY, TRY AND THEN TRY AGAIN!

A mere seven days ago today I had a total knee replacement.  The toughest part for me was the anesthesia whose effects lasted 4 days and had it not ceased and desisted I may have had to “do myself ‘in’” as opioids and I were not made to go out for a beer to celebrate after the end of the day.

Today I had my second PT and with a pat on my back from anyone who was in the room I give myself a lot of credit for how well I’m doing.  My motivation for each morning is looking at what exercises I must try to perfect in order to get to 100% usage with grace, ease and determination.  And to never forget how hard my body is working in trying to heal me from the inside.

Now the word ‘trying’ can be such a trying word if we don’t use it in a productive fashion.  It can become one of those words of allowing ourselves to stay uncommitted like when we say that we ‘should’ do such and such and never do.

However, I am finding a lot of power in these 3 letters.  When I hear myself use it especially right now there is a lot of determination and even a goal orientation contest with myself.  In trying to do something there is an action step involved and one actually leans into with a physical/mental/emotionally commitment.

End result?  Well, there may not be an ending but many new beginnings! “Try Harder Today!” may be the next mornings’ mantra or you may find some new options/ideas along the way that are now going to serve you better going forward.

The best that will happen when you TRY is that you are now further along than you were from the beginning and that is a really good success story worth a try.

Many blessings to you always with love,

P.S.  Our guest today is Rachel Bateman a self-made success story!  Rachel was brought up on a farm in northern Texas by her grandparents and learned at a very early age what commitment, love of the earth, and drive is all about to keep turning her life into one success segment after another.  As a single mother of two children, she found herself after a divorce in southern California.  Leaving behind three businesses started together with her ex-husband her entrepreneurial spirit helped her to forge on with creating her own business as a licensed professional in the ever-thriving, competitive California real estate industry.

This latest business has now given her the freedom to work virtually and move to Santa Fe, NM where she is in the midst of creating a new business involving a luxury concierge company.

What keeps her going?  What does she see for the future of women business owners going forward and what does it take to hone-in ones’ arsenal of strong work ethics to be happy, financially comfortable, and unafraid to keep unraveling the story of who we are?

We look forward to joining us today for our show Imagine Something Better at 11 am Live on WinWinWomen network!
