Daily affirmations are here to help you think more optimistically about yourself and the environment you find yourself in.
So, at this stage in your life are you finding that they are working for you; have you tried making them; do they not work because “It’s been a week and nothing has changed?” or are they just proclamations on a piece of paper and that you only making them up because someone told you to…like your coach, therapist, a close friend who is always optimistic?
Well, in order to make them work you have to believe that they will. Like anything you want to create in life you have to be behind it.
Secondly, you have to write them and post them where they can be seen every day. Two issues here: one is that you are practicing something new so it’s important to put them in front of you and two, they have to be what you truly desire.
Check-in with some of the more successful and happy people you know and see how they have created their juju; ask them how they appear to have created such a great life for themselves and see what their philosophy is in getting them through the day.
We are living on a planet with 8 billion other human beings so do you think we are meant to do our life alone?
Simple steps:
Be fearless and ask questions.
Find your hot spot for how you want your life to look/be. Get focused.
Practice reciting your affirmations daily…your brain may want to tell you to stay small and that they don’t work however you know that your job is to show up bigger and better.
Remember you have already shown yourself to be a creator of your life so whatever isn’t working you have all the power to fix it!
And one more thing: Start your affirmations with these two powerful words, I AM because you already are. My first affirmation ever was and is “I am beautiful powerful sexy and loving and in a wonderful lifetime relationship.” And so it is!
