ANOTHER YEAR HAS COME AND ALMOST GONE

I looked up and it was January 1, 2022.  It was my first snow fall in my new town in a new state appropriately called New Mexico.  I was in awe of the beauty and I couldn’t wait until I was dressed to go outside and make a snow angel.

The next time I looked up and it was April 2022 and I had lived here in the “new” for a year already.  It was still cold and I was on the edge of wanting to seek surf and sun as I had outlasted the few warm weather clothes I had brought with me from Los Angeles.  I had experienced making the snow angels a few times over the past 4 months and still hadn’t perfected how I could get up without help as to not ruin this piece of art I had created.  And the truth be known I was now beyond caring.

Then came July 2022 my birthday month.  We were having a very mild summer which to me was like the story of the 3 Bears…not too hot, too cold but very comfy.  The fires that managed to terrorize over 900 acres throughout the state had settled down thanks to the firefighters brought in from all over the country, my niece being one of them who came from northern California to set up the fire command stations.  No thanks to the knuckleheads who were in charge of controlled burning and decided to pay heed to the due date to perform and pay no attention to the 65 mile per hour winds that day.  Oy!!

In 2 days it’s Thanksgiving 2022.  Looking back the year has been in blur-mode.  I don’t know if it’s because I am older and time is in warp speed; if scientifically time is speeding up;  if there is such a thing as “time,” if the human condition is racing for the finish line as year along with the past couple of years has been less than ‘perfect?’ Since the internet we see what is happening at the same time;  remember yesterday is old news and too much information has us being caught up in others’ lives and not enough is spent on us, alone.

Whatever it is and your idea is welcome below, the idea of verging into a new year already is daunting and seemingly wrong because I know for myself that I didn’t take as much time as I could have to take advantage of the time/not time allotted.  Shameful!

So, with every pause of wonderment and proclaiming “oh my gosh” over the past year, we humans have had an opportunity to grow, learn and reflect.

Did you take the time to benefit from this?

If not here’s another chance to take advantage of this time, right here and right now.  It’s rare in life to be given such another chance but someone like God/Spirit and something maybe the Universe keeps giving us just another do-over.

As we turn around in a blink of an eye the ball in Times Square is dropping. Don’t waste precious time…set your intentions for 2023 before it lands.

At this time I invite you to Dream Big and Imagine what happens when you make a declaration to think out your old safey box.  Keep these simple steps in mind when you do and remember to embrace the magic of your life and why you were brought here to this place in time and honor the things you still yearn to do.

1.    Be clear of what you intend to accomplish.

2.    Commit to making it happen.

3.    Believe that you can succeed and stay clear of nay-sayers

4.    Practice every moment of every day to create your magic.

5.    Remove the angst that may crawl in…acknowledge it, bless it and then let it go.

6.    Make it brilliant…your way!

To your brilliance unfolding,

P.S.  IMAGINE SOMETHING BETTER on WinWinWomen.com will feature Jude and Charlie and all of you who join us for our show, LIVE as we gather to share our intentions for the new year.

If you haven’t done this before we will assist you in recognizing what things you want to create and/or help you focus on one of the many things you hope to experience for 2023.

As always, thank you so much for tuning in. Leave comments below :)
