Flatten your own curve

Just yesterday I had a telemedical phone appointment with my Gyn, Dr. Verma. We went thru the formality of “How are you doing? blah blah blah.

Call it wishful thinking but I was expecting to hear her talk about how her patients were getting excited about opening up the isolation stages and what they were planning to do with this new world and time in our life.  Instead what she shared with me was more about how many were feeling desperate and afraid and saying that they want to be happy again.

Hearing this hurt my heart because being happy is not something that is done to or for you, but it is a feeling that is self-induced.  Just under the surface of the negative noises in our heads await our hopes, dreams, desires and our true gift of creating possibility.

So even though I have been blogging about the opportunities we have been available to while sequestered, many people haven’t been able to figure out how to open their minds to a new way of thinking.  It is unrecognizable to think out of the box.  I mean really dig down and navigate around the old while sailing into possibility.

Most of us have relied on having others set the stage for us and now that we are in charge of putting on the play we may feel we haven’t the slightest idea how to even write one!  But we can do this!

One secret that we need to be able to uncover is to know that we are all so much more creative than we give ourselves credit.  We just have to start doing some sleuthing, internally, and Google, YouTube and the like are right at our fingertips.

As we have been trundling through these last few months living with a colorful array of behaviors, “Where did that mood come from?,” not only do we need to flatten the curve of this virus but we may need to put ourselves one step ahead of where we left off before this curving-stuff happened.

I personally sensed, intuitively, that the road ahead was not going to be a Michael Jordan slam dunk but that I was going to have to hold myself accountable as to how I want my outcome to BE.

Coming face to face with the fact that there is no old normal by which to rely on going forward, I had to start learning how to give in to what I wanted my new life to look like while remembering that the darkest of times are the most fertile for growth.

The other day I offered a 30-minute complimentary BREAKTHROUGH session to all and here’s a response from one ‘happy’ participant!

“I was looking forward to working with Jude and then I wasn’t.  My YES is because at the end of the session I had some real next steps that helped me but NO because it’s not easy to “look under the hood” of my psyche and face how I had to get out of my way.  In the end, Jude knew how to support me through that uncomfortable process and move through an issue so that I could grow beyond it.  And in a mere 30 minutes a lightbulb went off for me and I am so grateful!”

What my coaching will do for you is take you forward to where you desire to go! With some cheerleading, enormous support and guidance we co-create a new path of freedom for you.

Here are some things you can do right now before you sign up for your own BREAKTHROUGH session:

1.    Be mindful as to what you hear from deep within yourself.

2.    Pay attention to your self-worth, need for attention, feelings of guilt, wishing for the past to come present. Homework time!

3.    Practice and do not compare yourself or your desires to anyone!

4.    Make a list of some very powerful affirmations starting with I AM (because you ARE) ie.  I AM creative, exciting, relevant, and always on purpose.

5.    Be present always and you will know when you aren’t…(Ego babble comes forward and it’s not so empowering)

6.    Be accepting, kind and gentle with yourself.

Is this time ripe enough for you to be willing to dash ahead of your own curve and set out to discover your new path of your own personal new normal?  Your hidden talents are standing right in front of you and I’m just a click away!

To your brilliance unfolding,

Jude Luttrell
